Mr. Steig missed the filing date for my tax appeal and did not admit that to me (I found out on my own, however, and he blamed the appraiser when confronted). Oddly, he then promised to speak to the assessor on my behalf, though I thought it would do no good since the deadline had passed. He said I had nothing to lose, so I reluctantly agreed. I never heard from him again, though I called and emailed several times for a status update. He doesn't answer the phone (nor does he have anyone else answering the phone), and he doesn't respond to voicemail messages. He responded to a few of my emails, but ignored most. I have worked in the legal field for nearly 20 years and this sort of behavior is unheard of - both unprofessional and unethical. Stay away.
