John is compassionate, understanding, seasoned. I am going through a divorce, I have read the first review on John and was shocked...my experience with John Debartolo is the direct opposite. He has a lazier like focus on his client's needs, John D. doesn't forget anything, defends his clients (me) going through a divorce taking no prisoners and even worked with me on a reduced retainer to get me started. Also a gentleman, incredible bedside manner. Worth every minute and penny. Sensitive to the needs of both, so he knows what is fair and reasonable and what will work best for both. John has been around and is shows.

Warning!!!! Do not hire John! He lacks professionalism, courtesy and integrity. He was forced on me by the court as a "special mediator". His job was to find a professional Appraiser for my collection. John must have run his finger down a magazine while on the john and picked out whoever he landed on. WORTHLESS ..that was only the first one! Second appraiser (after again spending thousands for Debartolo to find one! ) was again WORTHLESS. The second one went home because he was overwhelmed at the size. We knew before he came up that he didn't know his stuff. We'd run a test via emails with him. DeBartolo is NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. I believe he owes me a full refund. DO NOT HIRE HIM.

I'm a woman in the process of a divorce. I would like to express what an outstanding attorney Mr. DeBartolo is! He's kind and decent and very well respected, which he deserves. You will be so satisfied and very happy working with a man of his character! He's fantastic.
