I expresed a detailed honest negative review on this lawyer and she replied by threatening to sue me in court if I did not remove my review. I guess that says a lot…..

Used her services last year. Terrible advice and solutions, which was a disappointment given that consultation is where you attract the client. Focuses a lot on case law, but is not creative herself. Suggested I lie about some circumstances which I did not find necessary at all. Talks a great deal, but is slow in grasping the circumstances.

Highly recommend Me. Fortier for family law. Truly devoted to your case when representing you. Very knowledgeable, professional and performs the almost impossible to achieve best results for her client. Although legal fees are high for all lawyers, with her experience I think she was able to settle our divorce matter as efficient as the legal process allows at the least cost.

She was Really not straight with me. She hides you the fees until she makes you reach an astronomical bill. Very non transparent and extremely misleading! I called the barre on her and most probably will end up in from of a judge. She asked me to pay her 16 000$ for child support fixation. Its outrageous!!! She never sent me monthly statements ....she only asked cash and I always gave her what she asked. One day out of the blue, she sends me this huge invoice surprise !!! Without any prior notification....I was shocked and completely baffled! I don't understand why she was hiding from me what I apparently owed her until it had reached an astronomical fee. I thought the balance was at 0 because I always gave her the amounts she was asking me gradually. So she was really not fair! I feel very sad and betrayed ....I hope no one else will fall in the future and get hurt ....
