Erin was an amazing family lawyer and offered sound advice and direction during my divorce proceedings. She was able to have my ex and I sign our separation agreements without going to court. I would highly recommend her.

Erin takes weeks on end to respond to my lawyer, this has prevented me from seeing my child for months... requesting outrageous demands that aren’t even legal but will try to throw everything at the wall hoping something will stick. This is why lawyers are hated and Erin is the reason. A simple matter could have been dealt with in a month but would rather waste time and especially money. A very disgusting, deplorable person.

When I sat down with Erin in the Oshawa office I found her to be very professional and knowledgeable. She was able to assist with my Family matter and explain it to me carefully and with understanding. I would highly recommend her as she was terrific in her assistance and follow-up with me. Thank you very much Erin!

Don't be fooled people, she's just in it for the money. She only looks out for her client, not the client's children. Enables them to file false income reports, takes weeks to respond the other party's lawyer's requests. Knowingly allows her clients to rack up future ex's expenses from their lawyer with non-sensical issues. Allows her clients to intentionally miss important child support payments. Would not recommend her if she was the last lawyer in Canada.

Erin Melncyk, practising in Oshawa, has allowed her client in incur debt in his spouse's name, cheat the amount of child support owed, lower values of assets and not pay for children's activities since separation. Erin does not care for well being of children at all. She also takes weeks to respond to communication from opposing counsel.

I have dealt with Erin many times. Always a great experience who goes above and beyond the call of duty. I would recommend this lawyer any day of the week!

Took the retainer and didn't hear back for months. Never returned calls or e-mails, noever voluntarily kept in touch, never provided itemized list of expenses. Promised all kinds of legal action and not one thing done. After 14 months we requested our money back and she told us we owe another $400! DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER FOR YOUR DIVORCE OR ANY FAMILY LAW ISSUES!!!!
