My experience with attorney Karin Quirk was extremely harmful, especially as a DV survivor. During mediation, she became a deer in the headlights and made major financial mistakes on the asset spreadsheet. I discovered the errors the next day, but when I asked her to address them she refused, minimized the damage, and told me I was “an educated woman” who could “make the money back.”
She knew I was coming from a domestic-violence situation, yet her response left me feeling re-victimized. Because she would not fix or even discuss her mistakes, I am now in court trying to undo the financial harm. After speaking with others, it’s clear this is a pattern. Please use caution if considering hiring her.

Karin is the worst family law attorney I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She was retained for my"collaborative divorce" and she only helped my ex husband to all of our family home and all his retirement accounts. He is a financial advisor and I am left with nothing. Have been in a deep depression for the last 10 years without a cent and my ex has the house everything in it my kids snd all our money. Do not use Karin. She is the worst and completely on the mans side and won't give you a dime. This is a community property State!!!

I was an abused female in a very weak state and really needed an advocate. Didn't show for meetings...always late. Tried to overcharge until I complained then she backed off. My ex husband is very well off and I'm at poverty level. There were no interjections on my behalf...just acceptance of whatever was offered and no recommendations from her of any substance. I'll be a pauper and he'll do well. Ex runs a mutual fund and ran financial circles over the attorneys. It's hard to trust anybody

she "worked" on my divorce, and got a bad deal beacuse i got tired of waiting for her to do anything that i just settled with whatever my ex gave me. she didn't care about me at all and her communication is even worse than he knoledge. not aggressive at all, and only reacts she doesn't act. I DO NOT Recommend her AT ALL

She took my money, never showed up in court, and before I know it, moved to Washington. I sued her in California, and she still refused to pay the $5000+ judgment. Don't believe me, email tanscribe@hotmail.com -- Don't be fooled into filing complaints to bar associations, they are there to protect lawyers, NOT us.
