We were buying a property and Miller represented the seller. This was a "highest and best" scenario - and we won. On what should have been the final day of attorney review period, Miller notifies us our contract is cancelled - no explanation. Our lawyer calls him and is told that he knows of no new offers. So our lawyer calls listing office, only to learn another offer was indeed sent to Miller. Either he has dementia, or he lied? When called a 2nd time, he suddenly became aware of the new offer. And that "new" offer - it was from a competing buyer that LOST a week earlier to us!!! Unethical IOO, and we're going to court to prove it was fraudulent, deceptive, misleading etc. The selling agency, Weichert Chatham, is also being sued. If there was a rating of ZERO, that's what we would choose!
