I met Mr. Todt in 1970, just after he graduated from night school with a degree in Law and had just passed the Bar exam in Missouri. It may have been his inexperience that led to the disaster he put me through. He told me that in Missouri both parties had to have "clean hands" in order to get a divorce. Neither my wife not I qualified. He was outmaneuvered by my wife's attorney and failed to enter my cross-filing for a divorce. I was living and working out of state at the time. Every week Todt demanded that I come to St. Louis for a hearing that never took place. These misadventures cost me hundreds, if not thousands of dollars! When the divorce was finally heard, at the courthouse Todt demanded documentation from me that I had supplied to him months previously - he was totally unprepared. My wife's attorney got 120% of what he demanded for her and was awarded over 70% of my NET income. Todt may have grown up; but anyone who hires him should be aware of this failure.
