David Neal said he has worked over a thousand cases like mine and he would get the charges dropped because he's friends with the prosecutor and I would only have to pay $100 to the police restitution fund. I live two states over, and the day before my court date I was driving to MO and had a motel room rented and took the next day off from work. I called his office on the way since I hadn't heard from him. His secretary said he would be gone the day of my court date and she would reschedule my hearing. He never informed me of this. I told him I was guilty and about charges I had when I was younger. He ended up breaking our confidentiality agreement and told the prosecutor I was guilty and about my past. I was charged $300 for both tickets. Terrible lawyer.
