Do not hire this lady if you expect to get what you pay for because after she’s paid she will disappear and all you will get is text messages full of lies. Never had the decency to just apologize she will blane you. She’s hateful, rude, unable to tell the truth. If I were to do what she does I would be in prison. She is preying on desperate and vulnerable people. She thinks she is the victim and cries you’re being mean when all you wanted to know when she’s going to do what she was hired for. After I paid her she stopped returning calls or answering them, she tells you not to come back to her house/office. I suppose that’s just her money drop spot. She is a criminal with the scams she pulls on people. She doesn’t need to practice anything pertaining to family law. Keep your money and research before getting this woman to help you. You’ll be better off I swear.

We hired Lisa Meggs on a family case, we paid her 4,780, she stated she would treat our grandchild as if it were her own, I'm now learning that it is a catch phase she uses. we fired her within a few weeks and she refused to refund us 1,500. we found her on legal match. Please do not hire this attorney. we have now filed a complaint .

Do not hire this lawyer. I was going to get her to represent me on a child custody DHS case. Show me she would fight for him like he was her own son. Then she calls me back and tells me I need to do what they say. Then when I tell her I could do that on my own I would need a lawyer show me she did not have the energy to fight me in CPS. I gave her $4,000 Friday afternoon at 4:30 I decided I didn't want to use her on Monday morning two days later and she told me when I asked for my money back I told her she could keep that consultation fee but I needed my money back she told me my money was nonrefundable. I told her I was going to file a bar complaint she told me that the bar doesn't handle fee disputes which is a lie. She ended up giving me back $2,000 and she kept to Grand and she literally only had it for a few hours and over a weekend

I was represented by Meggs in a divorce case but husband was paying the bill. She did not even want me to have financial records from husband s lawyer until day of mediation. A mediation I was not even present in the court room to agree to. She told me I could wait outside courtroom until court started and then came out of courtroom and said it was over. She acted like we had discussed things she agreed to and was so concerned. But, when I was arrested for contempt for not attending another court date because I was being admitted to hospital-I sat in jail for two days (yes, in a chancery matter) with no word from Meggs..although she was at courthouse where I was taken directly from jail by the sheriffs dept to supposedly face contempt charges. Judge told me we could discuss contempt charges AFTER I figured out if I was more reasonable about signing divorce papers. By no other choice I did -went straight home and was locked out of my home-if u wanna lose everything use this lawyer.
