I don't recommend this lawyer, never,ever. She tried to force me to send a letter reducing my support when we agreed in person not to reduce anything at all. I had to stop her services, look for another lawyer who disapproved of the work done by Mrs. Baesley. The another lawyer had to redo everything. After the DRO the payor could not reduced the support because his lawyer doesn't send the income information with sufficient support.Outside there are much better lawyers at a lower cost, because she charges a lot of for her services.

I am a male who used her. Got nowhere got my divorce through the use of leverage with my ex. Joanne bleed me for over $20,000 and couldn't even get a separation agreement done in 2 years. Avoid using her unless you want to help her pay for her cottage.

I am not an attorney so don't be snitty if I fail to understand what it is you are attempting to communicate. My case isn't over yet, and I don't know what to expect. I am not impressed over all, perhaps it is simply a personality conflict, I'm not sure. I had assumed that by now my divorce would be final and I have no clue as to what Joanne and my ex's attorney have going on. I feel as if I am not being consulted about anything. I just want this to be over.

Joanne is professional and no question about it.... She knows her stuff! Her team is efficient and well worth the cost of having their representation! A family lawyer can only argue facts that are proven... As a client you need to be able to communicate and provide evidence to support your position!

I have had nothing but a positive experience with Joanne and her team with my family law case! She has been very helpful and is a pitbull in court. Everything I've heard about her outside of court is positive - reading the 2 neg reviews is the first time I have ever heard anything negative about her. I highly recommend her for family law.

I would never recommend this lawyer. She was not prepared for court. She was reprimanded by the senior judges. She submitted some of my expenses which were not allowable under family law - made me seem unreasonable-resulted in reported case. Confirmed with court personnel and former spouse's lawyer that she lied to me. As a result of her ineptitude and dishonesty, I was not granted spousal support although I had put my spouse through professional school and supported our family for years. She also charged me tens of thousands of dollars for her services. I later had a senior family law lawyer review her legal work. I was given several options which included suing her or making a complaint to the law society. I decided that she was not worth the effort-my time and energy. Instead I concentrated on my own personal goals. I am glad to say that I succeeded despite her poor legal representation, however, I would not like to see anyone else have to go through what I did.

Spent seven reviewing and organizing and bill for same. Thousands of dollars later I was no further ahead but lighter in the pocket. Requested many adjournments due to her personal schedule. Sub servant position against male colleague.
