I hired Mr. Spiegel in 2014. He did a very poor job and was not honest with me. HAs time went on his communication became less and less. He also had very poor billing practices going well beyond my retainer before sending me a bill. He also did not fight for me and set me back and eventually I got buried by my x attorney. Stay away.

I cannot recover from what he did to me and my case. Mr. Spiegel acted on his own volition and has entangled me in endless litigation. Once I fired him and read my 3400 page file....I saw what he had done to damage my case and in complete disregard of the judges orders. The only recovery would be to sue Mr. Spiegel for malpractice as stated by the attorney who took over the case.

He is out only for himself and how much money he can be awarded. Forget his ambitions to represent a client in an ethical and competent pace. Doug is for Doug at any cost. Beware, he is financially unstable and will lie and steal child support and unaccounted for clients money.
