I had this attorney from 2010 to 2013, and he is an awful attorney that doesn't follow the ethics code. Including he likes to discuss the matters in the closed chambers with the judge and the other attorney so you don't hear what they are talking about. After discovering that he was not focused on the things that I told him to discuss and instead talking about irrelevant things to bill hours of court time and tens of thousands dollars later, I discovered through the other counsel and judge what he was talking about. Then sued him and made a 100 page report with the ARDC about his practices that other attorneys went through and found violations. He settled and paid the case, so we withdrew the case with sanctions with the ARDC. If you are careless with money and just want to write a blank check go right ahead, otherwise be careful.

Beware of the incompetence of this firm. I retained Kurt Muller to defend me in a fraud settlement my ex filed aginst me. His only concern was addressing the fraud the plaintiff committed. Kurt Muller was given accurate documents that would have ultimately ended the case. He was incompetent of distinguishing false documents the plaintiff submitted to the court. Kurt Muller strongly failed at filling subpoenas with proper information. I was ignored, phone calls we not returned. I requested many times that the information of the fraud from the plaintiff be presented to the judge and it was not. Kurt Muller�s only interest in my case was how much money he could take me for.

At first he was very nice but after i hired him he was not as responsive and didnt really focus on my case like he promised. About halfway through i decided it was best to cut my losses and find new counsel.

Don't walk....RUN to the next attorney and avoid having to change attorneys. Kurt is full of himself (avoid having to sit way back in the purple velvet chair across from his antique desk while his ego opresses your very existence) ...his concern for your case can only be described as phony. Money is to Kurt as blood is to Dracula. Which honestly, I wouldn't mind Dracula as an attorney as long as he would be competent and professional. He is the epitome of why lawyers get a bad rap.

Even when I expressed that his work and legal contract was not up to my liking he tried to con me into accepting it, and I had to go to another firm. $6500 in fees just got my a 10 page piece of paper for something I could have done myself. not impressed at all and very displeased.

If you want to pay big money, and lose your case. Then hes an attorney for you, otherwise any other attorney will be much better. Trust me, i spend $75000, and he did nothing, and after 2.5 years the case is still at the same place at the starting point. Very arrogant, and pretends to listen, but only cares about his money.

This attorney can make representations and assurances, which he will later deny. Your case could be lost due to manipulation and damaging advice. The only concern seems to be to charge the maximum for the least attention,and to do whatever necessary to exact that unneccessary and artificial amount. You may pay for everything you did not need, and may not receive any help you did need, in fact, may lose all through negligence, bullying, clever deceit and machiavellian trickery.

Kurt Muller IS the hardest working man on Lasalle Street...He put forth all of his knowledge, as well as the knowledge of other attorneys, on my case and gave me the best possible results. Though the costs were a bit pricey, the results were priceless. I would recommend this man to anyone that is in need of a fast, and quality, resolution.

Kurt Muller is busy, but when you've got his attention he is great. While he's expensive, you get what you pay for. My result was money well spent!
