Most of these reviews are false. Joanna is the most fair and caring lawyer I’ve ever met. She’s a pants wearing powerhouse that will invest every bit of her expertise into making sure that the children involved, end up where they’ll benefit the most.

A horrible person. Her daddy must not of hugged her enough growing up. She loves to destroy families. She has no kids of her own so she could care less the damage she does to the kids she's suppose to represent. I have yet to find an attorney who likes her and she has a special relationship with Judge Levinson who consistently calls her sweet heart, darling and babe. If you are up against her and Levinson-ask for another Judge. One attorney I interviewed said Joanna is flirtatious with Levinson and Judge Levinson likes that.

Joanna has been my attorney during a very difficult divorce for almost 5 months now. She is my second attorney and she is protecting my interests in a way that the first did not even come close to. I don't understand the 2 negative reviews on this site. Joanna does not drag things out for money, and she is collaborative when it is warranted and when it is not she takes a stand. I am so glad I found her, this has been a terrible experience for me but once I hired her I have been much calmer and the divorce has actually moved along. She has obtained several major results for me, including getting my STBX out of the house, requiring him to pay interim attorneys fees, and most importantly she got me a permanent parenting time schedule that I can live with. She is definitely someone you would be glad to have on your side if your divorce is difficult.

Joanna Challacombe is a tenacious lawyer. She is extremely well versed in the law. She is not afraid to go to battle with anyone. She took a very difficult child custody case with me and had to fight several attorney's on my and my kids behalf. Illinois is HORRIBLE for fathers rights!! But Joanna leveled the playing field!! While i occasionally thought i "knew better" or where i let emotions mess with me. Joanna kept me calm and always proved that she knows the law and the system inside out!! I would recommend her to anyone who is struggling to get custody of their kids. Especially any Men!! Are their less expensive attorneys out there? Sure. But i didnt want a "tv" law firm. I wanted a person who was not only excellent. But was someone i would see!!! Not some associate of an associate of the lawyer. I got what i paid for......MY SONS!!! I trusted her with my sons lives and she proved i made the right choice!! B.R. Des Plaines Il.
