I too tried to get a divorce through this attorney. He was paid in full $1100. Now three years later, I am still married. I have made several phone calls and mailed several letters. He refuses to return any calls. He now has my money and I am still married. It has placed me in a very bad position. He is horrible. Do not use this attorney.

This is the most unorganized attorney I have ever met in my life. He never returns your phone calls, and his answering machine is always full so that yo can't leave a message. This has been the worst experience of my life dealing with him. I am now trying to find out if he is still in business, since the courts didnt receive my proper documentation from him and want to dismiss my bankruptcy. I cant even get his secretary or anyone to answer nor will anything go through on fax. This is just ridiculous.

Richard cartright is a fraud. 3 years ago he took a check for $3500 from me and dissappeared. His wife and secretary made many excuses and I finally flew in from out of state to find him. He stole my money, never even filed my paperwork which would give saftey to my endangered child. He is a liar and a thief.

I have have been dealing with this attorney for 4 years on my divorce. He NEVER returns calls and I would not be divorced today if his secretary had not shown up for my court date. My case is still not completely resolved but I am unable to get any answers from him as to why. I am preparing at this time to file a complaint with the Board of Professional responsibility.

This is not only the worst experience with a lawyaer that I have had, but it is the worst business transaction I have ever conducted...EVER! I filed for a no contest divorce over a year ago. I moved a month later and wsa told everything would be taken care of and done within 6 months. 6 months later after calling numerous time, I was told they forgot to have me sign something. 4 months later, my husband...STILL, called me and told me the lawyer forgot to have him sign something! My court date was finally set for a year and a month after filing and should be final as of now. However, not only is the lawyer no where to be found, will not return my calls, but I also called the court and they said it was not even on file. All I want are my divorce papers and I can't even get him or anyone else in that office to help me. So unproffesional! I would have paid twice as much if I would have known it would be this bad.

A very unorganized attorney. I've had appointments several times with him through the secretary. They forget mine & schedule another's, again several times this happened. Terrible at return phone calls. I have waited a couple of weeks for a return phone call. This is with me calling almost every single day for answers. I wish I would have researched before making this mistake of hiring him as my attorney. I waste of money & time, but lots of headaches.
