What kind of lawyer would not file a request for a default judgment for his client when the defendant is most certainly in default, not having filed a statement of defense or counter claim in the allowed time? What kind of lawyer would not have his client apply for a preservation order to prevent the defendant from disposing of property that is the subject of litigation when that lawyer knows there is a definite possibility that defendant could flee? I would very much like to ask this lawyer these questions.

Ken represented me as my family lawyer for the past 7 years. Ken was honest about his billing and always looked for ways to solve issues quickly. I have 50/50 shared parenting that would have bankrupted me if I had used the previous firms before meeting Mr. Hoag. If you are divorcing with high conflict, I highly recomend seeking out Ken's services.

Where do I begin. Well I was being taken to the cleaners by my first 2 lawyers & Mr. Hoag saw that and said enough let's get you divorced. Mr. Hoag was right by my side the whole time. He knew exactly what I wanted and better yet what my boys needed. He went above and beyond the call of duty in my opinion. He is the most exceptional lawyer in Calgary and god forbid I ever need his services again I would not hesitate for 1 second in calling him. "Thank you" Ken doesn't really seem sufficient. Ken Hoag is only interested in making money. He is determined to bring his clients to family court, even if the divorce can be settled peacefully outside of court. I would stay away from Ken. I have been working in the same areas as Ken for many years and would even consider him as a friend at one point in time. Things changed as soon as I was having marital issues. He came at me like a shark stating that I should take my ex to court. My ex and I got along well though and were able to settle things on our own, without lawyers and we stayed out of court. Ken will do anything for money and that makes him a scary family lawyer. Please stay away from him.

I love this guy like a Brother! Turned an absolutely horrible court experiance upside down for me when he represented me in my application for custody!! Top notch representation in my books! Got me everything I asked for, highly recommended legal advice and represtation at every time! Well worth the money in comparison with my previous experiences!!

I have had Ken Hoag in the past and currently have him as my lawyer now. Not only is he the best lawyer in family law but he is a great person. He has kept me on the right track to ensure that I do everything right for my daughter. He is very focused on making sure that what transpires is in the child's best interests. He has always given me the best advice to help me be successful for my child and in my court case. Everything he tells clients to do is because he cares for each and every one of them.
