Mrs Strout represented me regarding several criminal matters in 2010. She may be knowledgeable but I wouldn't know how to accurately rate her knowledge because she didn't take the time to explain things to me. It was also VERY difficult to reach her. The few times I did get her on the phone she made it very clear she was irritated with my questions and treated me with a lack of respect. She had no concern for me as a human being or cared about my life. I was just another case file that she wanted to close and get off her desk. She pushed and shamed me into a plea bargain and the consequences of the please bargain were also not explained to me. She was my public defender during a very difficult time in my life. I imagine she would have to provide better representation for her paying clients or she would be out of a job.
