He took my money. No contact, no billing, nothing but head-ache. I had to threaten to call the California bar to get them to call me back. I would advise any and everyone to stay away from him and his office if asked.

paid over $32,000 for no work product. found out he was using my paid time to argue about his vacation time in chambers...never filed one of my suits i paid him for and let the other cases go while still billing...

Took money ($3500). Never was allowed to meet with any attorney. On court date was late, very late. Refused to answer/return phone or fax or registered letter. Horrible human beings and horrible legal counsel. Never had an attorney behave so absolutely screwed up as this group. Don't go there, don't believe them. Provided nothing in exchange for $3500. Seriously, nothing at all. Cannot understand how no actions have ever been lodged against this group. Search the internet. Everything you will find will be negative. I hope you find decent honest counsel. We did, but I cannot endorse that here. Thank goodness I can afford these kinds of mistakes. Most people cannot. We found decent counsel for half what they stole from me.

This lawyer is a Wallmart Lawyer. I retained him what a mistake. First appearance was just to notify the judge his was my new attorney. The second court appearance Steven Pell told me to wait out in the hall. Pell wasn't even present when my name was called and he had to be paged. Pell got $3800 and I fired his ass after that. Steven Pell is a crook. The retainer document says no money back on it. When you go for your consultation you don't even talk with steven Pell. You Talk to his mouth piece RJ. I was given an email address to contact his legal assistant his Daughter ha!! The first time I sent e-mail to the address i was given steven pells daughter sent me a reply "don;t contact me at this e-mail address it's my personal one. What?? if your looking for a cocky **** attorney and COMPANY HIRE HIM.

Has continuously been rated top atty in Ventura county which has gone to his head. He is in demand and has a workload that exceeds what he is able to do. We had to do all the legwork for the case and he just shows up to court to collect his fee. Beware - he does not provide retainer agreement in writing. Be sure to get one, or you'll be screwed. He always asks for more money and you wonder where your money is going since he does not communicate. I guess he's ok, just beware if you don't have deep pockets!
