Jaqueline was my lawyer in a complex and difficult family law case that took over 4 years to complete. We were up against an evil ex spouse and an ill informed lawyer on the other side who's only interest in the case was to drag it on and pile up the billable hours. Jaqueline was firm and tenacious and moved the case forward to the brink of a trial. Very good on her feet and a clever negotiator.

I had a rather complicated and difficult case which lasted more than three years. It required tenacity, and an excellent grasp of family law. She was supportive, fair, and calming under stressful circumstances. She delivered excellent value for her work .We had to do a couple of court appearances and a questioning where her abilities really shone. She is ethical and fair and committed to justice.I would highly recommend Jaquelline Mills.

Jacquie was seriously a powerhouse. She was very fair priced compared to other "shark" lawyers and was always the voice of reason. She also consistently tried the fair and reasonable path with the other side before having to get more heavy handed. She navigated us through some nightmare back and forth and always kept a cool head, and made us feel taken care of. We ended up "winning" (who really wins in divorce) after a 3 year legal battle that truly could have gone on years longer and cost hundreds of thousands more if it weren't for Jacquie. 10/10 recommend.

Recommended to me, I was looking forward to having Jacquie represent me though I had been told she was no longer on “top of her game” by another source. To my disapointment, Jacquie charged $1,000s to do paperwork, crunch numbers etc. that she should have had a clerk do for much less cost. She did not listen to me regarding my expectations or goals, she also wasn’t prepared in time for court dates causing rescheduling.

Jacqueline Mills is a very knowledgeable and experienced lawyer. Her approach is completely hands on in that she doesn't assign her client to a junior lawyer but instead does all her own work. An added benefit of retaining her is that her charges are very reasonable considering the work that she does. When I first met her, I was a distraught over a child custody battle. She is very skilled at calming her client and encouraging them to be patient with what can be a long legal process. Ms. Mills helps her clients make the right decisions, she gets the work done and she accomplishes everything she promises. For all of these reasons, I highly recommend Ms. Mills as a family lawyer.

I was extremely happy with Jacqueline Mills work.She was highly recommended to me.And completely took care of us.My case was extremely difficult and stressful due to my disagreeable,abusive controlling husband.Our litigation last 6 years and have been attending court frequently.and I can’t imagine to survive without Jacquies help. Ms Mills was recommended to me by a friend. I was unhappy with the inexperienced and uncommunicative lawyer I had at the time, and, after meeting with Ms Mills, I switched and am so glad I did. I found Ms Mills to be keenly intelligent, very well-versed in all aspects of family law and also kind. She made what is always a difficult thing so much easier and I'm extremely satisfied with the outcome of her work. Her dedication to my complex gave me peace of mind--allowing me to focus on my children, and get on with my career and life knowing I could trust her judgement. Jacqueline Mills is diligent, tenacious and well respected by her peers. She is an excellent family lawyer; both able to listen to and guide the client through this hard process. After having worked with a "top" law firm who did more harm than good in terms of my divorce, I found Ms. Mills by researching cases at the Law Library- she has won some exceedingly difficult cases that are now exemplary, mine included! Ms. Mills is extremely competent regarding outside expert assessments; her staff provide a valuable support network as well. Her fees and billing process are more than fair, and clear. I can honestly say she is one of the best, more experienced and reasonably priced family law lawyers in the city. She was able to negotiate a workable custody and maintenance arrangement, in very difficult circumstances, for me and my children without the necessity of going to court.

Jacky Mills told me everything I wanted to hear. She said I would get sole custody of my children, support, the house, everything. I get nothing. After she took all my money she told me I had to settle for whatever my husband wanted since I could not afford to keep going. The only reason I couldnt afford anything any more is because Jacky took it all.
