Jaqueline was my lawyer in a complex and difficult family law case that took over 4 years to complete. We were up against an evil ex spouse and an ill informed lawyer on the other side who's only interest in the case was to drag it on and pile up the billable hours. Jaqueline was firm and tenacious and moved the case forward to the brink of a trial. Very good on her feet and a clever negotiator.

Jacquie has been my guide through a number of different issues related to conflict with my ex spouse. She has always been in my corner, communicated clearly with me about what to expect and didn't give false hope. She worked hard to ensure that we could reach the best possible outcome. I strongly recommend her, as someone who will tell you what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear.

Jacquie was seriously a powerhouse. She was very fair priced compared to other "shark" lawyers and was always the voice of reason. She also consistently tried the fair and reasonable path with the other side before having to get more heavy handed. She navigated us through some nightmare back and forth and always kept a cool head, and made us feel taken care of. We ended up "winning" (who really wins in divorce) after a 3 year legal battle that truly could have gone on years longer and cost hundreds of thousands more if it weren't for Jacquie. 10/10 recommend.

Very fair, never leads you on or tries to drain you of all your money. Actually gave me all options and explained costs way ahead of time so I could make a real decision based on that. 10/10

Ms Mills was recommended to me by a friend. I was unhappy with the inexperienced and uncommunicative lawyer I had at the time, and, after meeting with Ms Mills, I switched and am so glad I did. I found Ms Mills to be keenly intelligent, very well-versed in all aspects of family law and also kind. She made what is always a difficult thing so much easier and I'm extremely satisfied with the outcome of her work. Her dedication to my complex gave me peace of mind--allowing me to focus on my children, and get on with my career and life knowing I could trust her judgement. Yet I was never left out of the process. I am rating her this highly because I sincerely believe that a person going through a divorce could not be in more capable hands.

I can honestly say she is one of the best, more experienced and reasonably priced family law lawyers in the city. She was able to negotiate a workable custody and maintenance arrangement, in very difficult circumstances, for me and my children without the necessity of going to court.
