Jeff Deer is a definitely a con man. Not to be trusted and will never give you anything of value to your case. He will just take your retainer and appease you until he eventually ghosts you. He was “working” on my case from June to September and did not do a single thing. Fed me a lot of lies, the opposing council has no record of having conversations more than two conversations with him, but he always communicated information to me as if he spoke to them several times and gave me incorrect information and just flat out lies that made me think he was working hard on my case and gaining ground. Everything he says is a lie. Whatever you pay this man, you will not get back. He is now disbarred!

Stay away from Jeffrey Deer! He is a liar !!!! I am filing a law suit against this liar Jeffrey Deer who took my money , promised to work on my case and did nothing for 5 years. He deserves to be in Jail for fraud on clients. He is a horrible horrible person a liar . My case was never resolved by him. He took the money from me and later on he would not return my calls or emails . I tried calling his partners Maya Stone but they said they are no longer partners with Jeffrey Deer. My case is not resolved and I can't afford another lawyer . Very horrible situation I'm in thanks to this liar Jeffrey Deer. Still trying to contact him but no response

Jeffrey Deer is a con man and rip off artist. Took my wife and I for $3000 up front to handle her dying fathers estate. He father passed away almost a year ago and we are still trying to sort things out because of his negligence. We reported Mr Deer to the bar association and he lied his way out of it. Find yourself another attorney if you don’t want to get ripped off.

Mr. Wade took my case, caused me to lose almost $10,000 and never communicated anything with me other than "I'm working on it". After 2 years of him talking out of his rear-end, I sent all my emails, which is the only way he would communicate, and sent all my proof of his failures to the IL State Bar. Of course, he lied his way out of that! I was always told that if is not in writing, it didn't happen. I had all my proof in writing, he had nothing and the Bar would not help. If I could rate the Bar Assoc. the same way, I would. Stay away from this snake!

Jeff Deer took a month to turn around papers for a closing. The clients would have missed their move-in date due to Jeff's poor communication with my attorney and his clients if we had not stepped in. He is so out of it, he did not understand that the contract needed to be in the management's hands by a certain date, and the rest of us were scrambling. My attorney had to prepare the entire Contract for Deed, when it was Jeff Deer's responsibility as representing the buyer to do so. My attorney represented me, the seller, and we should have received the contract prepared by him! He hand wrote one illegible change on the contract and it took two weeks of asking for typed changes. He never did -- instead, he explained his changes over the phone to my attorney, who crafted the proper verbiage. Jeff Deer left everything up to my attorney to handle, and has thrown a wrench in the closing every step of the way.
