First time having to deal with a lawyer to this extent, I am completely satisfied with the end results. At times it felt like the process was taking too long, but that was partly due to the resistance of the other party. Very nice to deal with. Thank you!

Oscar Barnes represented me in divorce court this last July and knocked it out of the park. The Court decided very generously in my favor because of him. Some reviews here talk about communication problems, and I'll admit I was frustrated with the lack of response at times. But considering typical lawyer fees charged for every phone call and email, I'm grateful now that we didn't communicate more! Even when I was thinking of representing myself at once point, due to financial stress, Oscar gave me free counsel on how to go about that. And I think that's what made me change my mind. Thanks Oscar. You were absolutely phenomenal!
NOTE: I have a hunch that MOST of Oscar's clients are totally satisfied like me, and that they never even think about writing reviews for that very reason.

Very bad communication to say the least disorganized always bouncing messages never returning calls wasted alot of money I would advise you not to do the same.

Couldn't give a zero for communication. Not a 'tough guy' lawyer, so if you want your file dealt with fiercely, this guy is not the guy. Wasted 5k before I wised up. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Very poor communicator. Does not listen and does not know my file despite having it for over 2 years. Not a fighter at all. Still no orders in place. What have I paid for??????

This man has left me without orders for two years, but has taken my money shuffling papers. I have a non-paying ex and no way to enroll him on FMEP b/c I STILL have no orders. JCC meeting was over a year ago and NOTHING. I'm nowhere on my divorce. My children and I are unprotected. I feel so powerless. He never returns calls. His assistant appears to care more. This man does not listen. Save your money. Save your sanity. Go elsewhere.
