Went to Mr Browning for a claim on a life policy for a car. It seemed like he was going to take the case and he wrote a letter to the insurance company as we sat in his office. My sister-in-law had fallen down stairs and died of a cerebral hemmorage. The insurance company was calling it a "pre-exsisting" illness. I had a file with all my correspondence to and from the insurance company. My appointment was at the end of day. After Mr Browning finished his letter he asked if he could keep my file until he had a chance to copy it . (End of day, no secretary in office) I agreed and wrote a check for the consultation. He explained if the insurance company wanted to pursue the issue his retainer would have to be paid prior to him working the case. The insurance company sent a letter to his office which his office forwarded to my brother with a note stating Mr Browning was working a criminal case and because it would take 30+ hour to research Idaho law for this case and the insurance was fo
