Used Mr. Neal as mediator in my divorce case. He's a legend in his own mind. He wasn't interested in hearing anything but himself speak. Waste of time and money. Please go elsewhere.

mr neal represented me in a divorce case. I spent over 40K on a divorce case that should have cost about $6k. He ran up the fees and was more concerned about the opposing counsel's opinion of him and the mediator than representing me. Poor ethics. I had to threaten to go to the BAR to get him to respond. find another lawyer!!!

Spent around 10,000 dollars and nothing was accomplished. I ran out of money so, my ex-husband still has my three children and I am still responsible for child support.

Mr. Neal is extremely smart and has vast legal knowledge. He is very expensive, but if you want a good lawyer in Denton County, you get what you pay for. Another word of caution: This firm will nickle and dime you, and the wheels turn slow.

Excellent family law knowledge. Somewhat slow on communication and my particular case (likely due to the fact that he is the head of this firm's family law section - thus high demand).

In a bad situation, such as a divorce, the attorneys are sometimes unfairly held responsible for the bad situation. They shouldn't be held responsible. Bill Neal works extremely well with other lawyers (opposing)in the Bar Assn. He is not pushy with the case. And at times, appears to be dragging the case out. But his skill in the business has rewards at the conclusion of the case. The rates per hour at Hammerle Finley are very high. They keep very accurate records of all time spent on a case. Hammerle Finley is extremely slow to return prepaid money after case resolution.
