Indifference by ADA Melissa Heifferon Poole regarding the death of a 22 year old soldier killed by a repeat DUI offender.
The following was included in my 'Victim Impact Statement' presented on Sept. 4th, 2013 at the Long County Court sentencing hearing for the DUI related death of my son Spc. Ryan T. Brady.
*The disrespect and failure of ADA Melissa Poole to call me as I had requested numerous times from shortly after my son's death on Sept 26, 2009 until August 30, 2013. Four years of salt in the wound for my family. We needed to know that the system would competently sort out the legal ramifications of the crime and provide competent justice for Ryan and his family. A call was finally returned to me by Poole after MADD's Cynthia Hagain director of the Atlanta office called Poole on my behalf and apparently 'rattled her cage'.
*Justice delayed..! 4 years from crime to sentencing hearing.
