Alton Hartley is not a person if his word. He is unprofessional and makes many excuses when he doesn't get a job done. I had the displeasure of hiring him only to end up suing him. I won, but I didn't get all my money back that I paid him. The board (state bar appointed) allowed him to keep the majority of the money that he had not done the work for. My personal opinion is that his colleagues didn't want to go against a fellow colleague. Hartley did no legal work on our case. He was fired after doing nothing for our case after 4 months.
