I wish i knew Mr. Issack a lot earlier as my previous experiences with other lawyers were horrible. He was recommended to me by my real estate agent and i can't thank him enough for doing so. Mr Issack is very knowledgeable and walk you through the whole process step by step. Unlike other lawyers I dealt with before, he is very responsive and happy to answer all your questions. I had a small closing on a condo parking space and needed to find a new lawyer (previous had retired). I came across Mr. Derchansky's name on this website, saw the ratings, contacted him, and had a great experience. He was upfront about fees, clearly knowledgable and was very responsive, keeping me in the loop throughout the entire process. We even ran into some difficulties with the closing/builders lawyers who were attempting to add additional (unwarranted) fees to my closing adjustment and Mr. Derchansky was able to have everything corrected and resolved saving me money and stress. Will work with him again.

Competence is the cornerstone of professionalism in my opinion. Not only is Issack Derchansky competent, but he is pleasant, patient and reliable. The consummate professional. I had a very pleasant experience as a first-time home buyer. In the beginning, I was very nervous about finding a knowledgeable and trustworthy lawyer that would walk me through the entire process. Issack made it a very comfortable experience, being detailed and quick to respond. He always seemed to be on top of things as I got emails/calls from him nearly everyday regarding mortgage or property issues, which were due to my situation. I really respect the fact that he took my time into consideration and tried to make it as convenient as possible for me. That included laying out the steps and making sure to tell me everything I needed to do before coming to sign paperwork.

It was a pleasure to have Mr. Derchansky close my real estate deal! I have bought and sold properties across Ontario for more than 10 years and no lawyer has made me feel as comfortable as he did. He explained everything in clear, understandable language and dealt with a tricky title issue weeks ahead of the closing date. There was no last minute stress!
