I sent an email asking for help with a legal issue and there was no condolences for the situation. I explained my financial situation being a disabled vet and the only response I got back was that "FWHT is not interested in assisting you in this matter, and declines to get involved." One sentence. Sounded very callus and cold. Made me feel like I didn't have enough money for his time and not even an explanation why.

I hired Mark for a custody case. After mediation I has my doubts but stuck with him for fear of changing lawyers in the middle of a case would look bad. He said that this case was going to trial and asked for $10k. I paid him the money thinking it would get me most of the way. Things got worse from that point. I suggested to get a GAL would be the best way to move forward. He got me a parent coordinator a said it was the same. It was not. Then he told me there was no way I could get a GAL. I did my research and he was wrong again. Plus it took multiple times for him to get anything right. Such as motions ect. Last he showed up **** to a hearing. At that point I fired him. Then he sent me a bill for $21k to scare me off. I hired a real lawyer that got me custody in just a 2 months. Had motions ready in hours not weeks Mark is a master at stalling your case. There is a lot more to this story but space is limited. My advice would be to stay away from Mark Becker
