I was one of four beneficiaries in this estate that was highly proactive and paid for 25% of this lawyer’s Services Rendered fee. Here are bullets items of how this estate was handled (my cache has 633 emails which included a myriad of emails to this lawyer):
1. Inaccurate property values by a highly recommended agent via this lawyer; same became piqued on what I as a retired real estate broker was giving her as expert advice; I intervened for a Certified Appraisal.
2. Noted to lawyer federal laws that moved this counsel to thwart false claims against the estate.
3. Avoided lawsuit on primary property via my intervention to agent.
4. Beneficiaries critical in maximizing assets to the estate; lawyer required “extraordinary fees” for that work with no guarantee of any return other than the estate would incur additional costs. As assigned Debt Negotiator, turned around a large debit to the estate for a substantial asset to same.

I would strongly recommend Elsbeth Waskom to anyone looking for an estate attorney. She handled my father-in-law's estate with compassion and integrity. This was a very emotional time for my husband and his sister as there were difficult circumstances prior to my father-in-law's passing as well as during the probating of his estate. Elsbeth gave us sound advice, kept us informed and most importantly, was sympathetic to what we were going through. She made sure all the documents were in order with regard to the sale of his condominium which can be a cumbersome process. Elsbeth was always available to answer any question we had and explained everything in detail. My husband and I would highly recommend Elsbeth Waskom.

Ms. Waskom is an outstanding attorney. She handled my mom's estate when she passed and we were so impressed with her knowledge that we hired her for our new estate plan.
