Mark Demas has been in possession of my retainer since 2014, held in trust in error, and Mark had all the information of what the balance should be, it has been requested to be returned and to date it has not.

Mark really knows his stuff and is an experienced family lawyer. He can be very busy but always makes times for clients in regards to important matters. At first I did not think he was aggressive enough in litigation, but once I trusted his style, he ended up winning for me again and again. Would recommend.

I would not recommend. When we finally went to trial he racked up a 58,000. bill for me in a month. I had to stand in court and speak to the matter myself as he was unprepared to respond. He is not genuinely into helping. He is now with TC Family Law.

Most dishonest and unethical person I have ever met. He doesn't care at all twisting the facts--every second word is a lie -- even in court. Total weasel! Don't give him a penny of your money.

This guy twists facts and forces opposing clients into debt by extrapolation. Causes grief and tears lives apart. He should be dis-barred for his behaviour of ignoring facts and forcing people to pay 600% more than they can afford. Never use this guy. He thinks for himself and doesnt play fair even with facts in front of him.

Mark is a good listener, and thorough about his work. He is honest but assertive and doesn't make promises about things he can't guarantee. He was clever in his suggestions for my case- about what I was entitled to and what could be conceded should I need to get the judgement I ultimately wanted.
