Biased towards men. Accuses people of lying, doesn't read affidavits or look at evidence. Horrible judge.

I echo the other reviews about unfair bias as a judge. Expectations are that the father slave themselves to financially provide for the children while the mother is let off easy. Unprofessional rant and tongue lashing was given using horribly outdated financial figures that would change the entire tone of argument. There was never any sort of feeling of fair and just in her proceedings.

If you get Mirwaldt as a judge, I pray for you. She has put my children through hell and is making things worse for my ex and I. She puts so many restrictions on us that we are unable to parent. She favours my ex husband and “slaps his wrist” when he breaks orders. When my ex makes false accusations about me (false because I have proof against his claims) she comes down hard on me. Nothing in her courtroom makes any sense. Twice it’s been like the Twilight Zone... because it makes no sense. She was supposed to help my ex and settle our divorce, but instead has made things worse. She asks questions but then doesn’t let you answer. She has made veiled threats to me that I could lose my children if this goes to trial. And there is absolutely no reason for that. Something has to be done to help women who appear in her courtroom.

no longer in practice which is too bad. She was honest and fair and on my side. Now a judge and does a good job listening to people

Now a judge and bias towards women, she doesn't make decisions based on facts but rather on feelings. By far one of the worst judges in Manitoba.

Good service but she is always busy and sometimes hard to reach during office hours. But she calls on weekends and evenings and will go out of her way to understand your case and help. She expects clients to know their case and not waste her time. Up front about costs.

This woman left me destroyed and charged through the nose for it. She doesn't care about her client and was more concerned about my ex and what I could "afford" to pay her instead of what was fair. She locked me into an order that I cannot change and I am still battling the court system 4 years later. Stay far far away from this woman.
