Steven DiLibero took my $3,000 (Got it from a mutual reacquaintance, who I reimbursed). Fact. I never heard from DiLibero again. Fact. When I approached the R.I. Judiciary Disciplinary Board, I was informed by Director David Curtin that DiLibero had filed a motion on my behalf. Fact. I asked, "What motion? What court? What state?" Curtin said, "You are not allowed to know any of that information. The matter is at an end." Now, DiLibero may be a thief, which is a fact, but he's not stupid. He didn't file a false statement with the court without Curtin's wink-and-a-nod prior approval. That's felony conspiracy. Fact. Curtin and DiLibero then were protected by Curtin's boss, R.I. Supreme Court Chief Justice Paul Suttell. That's a fact. No man is above the law. Sure.

Steve is a money hungry shark. Who preys on uneducated people to pay him large amounts of cash. He has a slick salesman pitch and smile. Once you pay him in cash. He gonna demand more, or he will not show up to court or answer your calls. He never goes to trial. Always a plea.. I paid him over 7 grand cash. And when I couldn’t pay him anymore he stopped showing up to court or working. And sent some young kid. And told me to pay the kid 2500. He never put in any motions. I fired him. Got a pd and got better representation

Does not take calls, insists on being paid in cash and refuses to give receipts. He failed to appear in court twice which caused a delay in my case. It was a small case it should have been resolved in one or two courts appearances. It took seven. That was seven days of lost pay for a filing.

He is great!! I was in a real ugly case. Everytime I had a concern he always answered my calls or text. Explained everything to me, I cant complain with his services , I was more than satisfied with the end results.... Highly recommend him specially on criminal cases.... You wont be sorry

I am going to be honest as I was really nervous with my new pending charges and the though of get a probation violation really frightened me. In a matter of 2 weeks time the original pending charges went away and I was able to avoid a violation. IMHO there is no better lawyer then Steve.

unfotunately i have needed steven dilibero's help several times. each time he has delivered what he promised. he's been very accessible and works very hard on my cases. with his help i am now on the right path. i have had an occasional associate, but he oversees everything. he treats me like a real person and never judges me. he is worth every penny and without him i would be writing this from jail.

Mr. DiLibero works hard for his clients and anyone that spends anytime in district court knows that. he has been practicing for over 15 years and knows his criminal law, he also has a very good reputation within the court community. He is a very zealous advocate for his clients and I would hire him again ..obviously those who have lost their case will not speak favorably and as for sending law students to do his work....give me a break...Mr. DiLibero comes from old school learning...get thrown in the trenches..thats how you learn the process. The problem with today's young lawyers is that they want their hand held all the way through the process, are afraid to EARN their way and their pay..they think they should be making 80,000 right out of school. If you want to learn work for DiLibero if you want a silver spoon stuck up your ass go work for the AG's office.

Dilibero is a salesman. He never takes a case to trial. He takes money from the uneducated and sends law students to court for him. If you ask any attorney familiar with him, you'll get an earfull. Not only is he a horrible lawyer, he should be disbarred. A slick sales speech doesn't make a good lawyer - he doesn't even know how to write a legal brief, he leaves his receptionist to do his legal work. My friend is a prosecutor, and told me that he gives his clients a break because they won't be represented by Dilibero (Dilbero ALWAYS wants to plead out).

Attorney Steven Dilibero is wonderful. I was looking at 5 years on a drug offense. Attorney Dilibero was able to get my sentence down to 2. I apreciate all that he has done for me in this situation. I really was not looking forward to those years in prison. Attorney Dilibero made me feel more more optomistic as the case proceeded forward. I am very thankful that he was on my side. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a great criminal attorney.

Hes not as bad as evryone puts him out to be. I think that hes a stong lawyer with a strong caracter, but than again in this bussines you cant be soft or you'll get chewed up and spit back out, its just a persona that he has to put up while he's infront of a judge. And pass all that hes a caring, loving, man, friend, father and husband, even thought he can be a paint in the back sometimes you just have to have patience with him. And I think You are being too hard on him, maybe cause you lost your case? hey you cant win them all!!!.
