Mr. McCahill is a failure as a lawyer. He simply negotiated a case that CLEARLY had much more action to be made. It is a terrible shame that he feeds on the modest and honest folks that are referred to him.

I found Mr.McCahill to be kind and professional. He handled my business promptly and proficiently. I would definitely use him again. (Also, in researching his arrest, all charges were dismissed.)

He has no ethics, will lie to clients, Doesn't respect law enforcement and is a narcissist. Buyer beware.

April 2018: Mr. McCahill was arrested for felony burglary (broke into his neighbor's office to beat him) + assault. Karma is good. I hope he is put out of business.

He worked my divorce and I really have no complaints. To me, 3 is average and he did me right so I gave a couple higher marks. He handled my case with very little retainer. He pushed ahead with my case even after the retainer had run out and he knew I couldn't pay. I appreciated his help.

Avoid this attorney at all costs. He did not have us sign an agreement - pretended to want to help us during two consultations. He collected information and he not only did not keep confidential but copied to the opposing party! After he collected the info and shared it - he suddenly said he couldn't represent us because he was too busy. This fellow is beyond shady.

I retained Clinton McCahill to collect money that was owed to me. Unfortunately, Mr. McCahill allowed a month (and $7,000) to go by before he began working on my case. Eventually he did obtain a small portion of my money however he illegally commingled it. He ceased communicating with me and refused to release my money for months. He then suddenly and unexpectedly quit. It took numerous letters followed by a complaint to the Bar to convince Mr. McCahill that the money wasn't his. I've retained 15 attorneys in my life. Mr. McCahill ranks as #14. (Yes, I retained an attorney who was even worse.) I would avoid Mr. McCahill with the hope that your opponent retains him.
