Not related to a court case but he is employed by the Town of Oakville to hear certain cases as an independent third party as part of an appeal process (Hearing Officer). I prepared a 7 page, 30 photo document of evidence related to the unjust parking tickets at a school the town was handing out. I sent the evidence months in advance and then updated it three days before the hearing. Then at the time of the hearing, he asked for me to state my case and said that he'd read my evidence package while listening to me talk. Of course, you cannot comprehend all evidence in 5 minutes like that and then properly render a judgment. I see that being unprepared is a common theme with this individual. I don't know how you can be paid for a job and know that your decision plays a role in a person's financial and mental distress and be totally unprepared.

Do not waste your time and money on this lawyer. He does not prioritize your interests or the best interests of your children. During our court hearing, he came unprepared and couldn't even remember basic facts such as the name or age of the child involved in the case. He consistently mixed up evidence and misrepresented facts. When he lost the case he became extremely disrespectful and rude to me.

This lawyer proves to look after my case and never call back and ruin my reputation when i did get new lawyer and tell him i did never pay him.just big lier , the case maybe wasn’t big box for him . Never trust this guy .

It is difficult to describe how awfully poor his practice has become. He lacks presence, isn't thorough, fails to counsel proactively, cannot lay out options coherently, is asleep at the switch and lets clients get steamrolled in court while he fumbles facts, doesn't defend and is inexplicably inarticulate. He is no staunch advocate for clients, just mediocre and selfish. He drops the ball. Ids the poorest of communicators. His lack of competence has endangered my children. Avoid this legal loafer like the plague.

Ted has been extremely professional and helped me quickly and efficiently resolve two cases, one with family court and the other one a business claim. In both cases he asked me: what do you want? and he delivered exactly what he was asked.

Horrible human being who clearly believes there's no such thing as child sexual abuse and hates women. He took my documents and the games began from there. Just another scumbag who needs to have license removed.

Ted was recommended by a friend, Ted seemed knowledgeable about the law, however as many of the other ratings demonstrate he has not made any effort to communicate with his clients. I was very excited to hire him but he killed my case and did NO WORK on it. Once we got approved for legal aid he never called me.

My experience was terrible and incomprehensible. He doesn't return communication and is apathetic to clients needs. I do not recommend.

Mr Nemetz does not communicate period. He will promise to take action and then disappear for weeks at a time. He never responds to direct questions. Does he care if children are involved? No he does care especially if it interferes with his weekend plans. Not really sure why he picks and chooses certain things to argue about with opposing counsel but if you want resolution Nemetz will only create conflict for no reason. He acts on behalf of his clients without their consent and sends communications without the clients approval. Overall a very weird strange and unlikeable man.

I found Theodore Nemetz on Justice Net. He arrived in to our court date completely unprepared. He did not prepare any of the documents the judge had requested for the court date. Due to his complete disrespect for the process and for me, his client, he caused me to incur court costs over $1900 which he DID NOT BOTHER TO MENTION to me. The damage Mr. Nemetz did to my case cannot be understated. My new lawyer is still trying to clean up his mess. I would NEVER recommend this lawyer to anyone. At the recommendation of another lawyer I have filed a complaint against him with LSUC. Stay away from this lawyer, unless you want to lose badly. His communication skills were non existent. He did not communicate anything to me at all. His work quality was laughable. His value to my case was harmful. Tenacity? Forget it. Without my permission, he negotiated away my rights then lied to the court that he had my permission to enter into any agreement on my behalf. He did not. I hope he rots.
