Walter Morrison
Terrible experience would not recomend. I paid $2000 upfront for a retainer fee. We get a associate lawyer named Chad whom invites my girlfriend out of town on a boat trip. He also whistled at her back side going up stairs. I was not paying my money to have a guy flirt with my girlfriend. Chad attempted to take advantage of a woman under stress. She went to Virginia Beach court and Chad actually gets less money per month than the soon to be ex husband has already been agreed upon. This was temporary support and not enough to support anyone. She was married for 30 years. After this we fired them. No partial refund was given or any kind of bill to explain what service was provided. I recomend you run from this law firm.

Well I wish that I too had checked out his reviews before I had red him for what my wife had needed from his firm. Well my wife had an old divorce case that she felt that she was screwed over by her ex-husband and that Mr. Morrison had told us after we had explained our case to him and after he heard our case he had told us that we have a case and that it would cost us 6Kfrom start to finish, and this is not including all the leg work get the paperwork for him. So we had paid him plus we had found out that he was one of those "Don't call me and I won't call you" until I have some info. to share with you also that includes but not limited to emails and phones calls. I mean he could at least send out a general letter saying that "we are working on your case and we haven't forgotten about you". I hope that people do their research and then make a sound decision on if this is the pr for them after readll of the reviews at le.

I used to work for this attorney & everything people are saying about him not returning calls is absolutely true. I was constantly getting complaints from clients about it but there wasn't much I could do. He would take on any case even if there was no liability if he thought he could make a dollar. His wife is totally incompetent & knows nothing about the practice of law. She even lost a settlement check after she put it in her purse! Reputable firms have places for safekeeping for checks. Mr. Morrison is incompetent, a liar & the kind of lawyer that gives them all a bad name. Stay away.

I rate Mr. Morrison with the highest rating and found him to be the kind of lawyer you hope you have representing you. Outstanding work on my case and outstanding results. Mr. Morrison spent hours with me preparing my case and after presenting it to the opposing lawyers, he got a great award of compensation for me. He was always very professional, and quickly responded to my phone calls and emails. He kept me updated on the developments in my case and took the time to answer all my questions. He always made me feel like my case was the most important case he had, although I know he has many clients. If you want an attorney who will be dedicated to your objectives, look no further than Mr. Morrison.

Mr. Morrison Lied to me, miss leaded me too. I wished I checked his ratings first before I agreed to pay him. I wouldn't recommend him to my worse enemy. The va state board should investigate his practice because I'm sure that many other people feel the same way I do. He agreed to everything of my ex attorney and my ex , but not me. I disagreed with the unfair settlement, but mr Morrison told me that he wasn't going to take it to court. He charged me several thousands of dollars to tell a lie and nothing was done, never took it to the court , plus he made my situation even worse than when I came to him, + now I own money, for what ? really don't understand how he still have his license. I'm sure that I'm not the only person that he screwed over. I trusted him and he betrayed me. Stay away from him and his wife Nancy who assists him .

I Hired Mr. W. Ware Morrison to represented me for my Divorce. My divorce was a very complicated one and went for over 28 months we put together several equitable proposals to the soon to be Ex-Wife which were turned down. The Ex-Wife took me to court and she was warned by the judge that we should settle before court was in session. The trial was two days and the judge found no fault and denied 9 of the 10 judgements that she brought against me. The judge saw thru the smoke and mirrors. Mr. Morrison was very thorough and kept me update thru correspondence and telephone calls. All appointments were kept and the office staff always cordial. I would highly recommend Mr. W. Ware Morrison for your Divorce or any other legal matters. :D
***Word of advice Divorce is an awful thing and requires Patients it did pay off in the long run trust Mr. Morrison to Represent you***

I hired Mr. Morrison and his team to handle my divorce. What started as a very nasty battle ended in a very favorable settlement for myself and my children. The firm took the time to listen to my concerns and really fight for me. They walked me through each step and prepared me for all possible outcomes. My family have repeatedly contacted him trying to get information about my aunt's estate. None of our calls were returned, even though the receptionist assured us she would give him the message. He also failed to send some of the heirs written information that was sent to other heirs. If you need more proof of his failures to communicate with his clients, look him up on the VA State Bar Association.

When I came to W Ware Morrison Law Group, everyone there was very friendly and respectful. I met with Mr. Morrison, who is very knowledgeable, and assured me that they would do everything they could to fight for what was best for me. My case was given to Mrs. Waldford who is an associate of W Ware Morrison Law Group and she represented me in court. She did a phenomenal job, like a piranha in a fish tank; she attacked and cut at the other party, allowing me to walk away from the situation with my head held high and being well off. I made a good decision in choosing this law firm to represent me and I highly recommend that if you have a legal matter that you need taking care of that you choose W Ware Morrison Law Group. They are very knowledgeable, very respectful and reasonably priced.

Hired Mr Morrison originally and everytime you call or go in we always talked to Mr Morrison. As we approached court date we get slapped with a NEW Atty which is a NOBODY....and everything Morrison advised us was so not what this other atty advised us..Feel so betrayed! When I originally called there were para legals and ONE atty and that was Morrsion...Now all of a sudden there is some deflunt atty handling divorce case and he's in favor of woman it sounds.. Atty does not care after he gets his enormous fees he charges. I would not use him again ever.We were told they would suponea phone records by Morrison but other lawyer said too close to court date and phone records can't be gotten. Then Morrsion told us since vehicles and house was all in sons name that she could not touch either but new atty says she gets % of home and one vehicle..Ok but why did morrison say different. Totally misled

I am very pleased with Ware Morrison's representation of me both in court and with negotiations with the other lawyer. First, the divorce was very stressful and difficult for both me and my family. Mr. Morrison and his team have been really wonderful to work with and I want to thank them for all that they have done for me. Never hire W. Ware Morrison unless you like giving money away and not getting anything in return but a empty wallet.I paid him in full after he got the money he did nothing.He did not work on my case he sent a lawyer to my court date I had never seen or spoken to about my case and I could of done better or as good going alone he's a con not a lawyer.

This is the worst law firm ever, every time I call they forget who I am, they never return phone calls, they are very rude and so unprofessional. I file for a divorce because my wife left me and she was able to turn it around on me with her lawyer and killed us in court. The are not personal attorneys at all, they just want your money and will they get, there case is no longer a concern to you.

THE CRAPPIEST LAWYER EVER!!!! I was told that $4500 would take care of my child custody case and my divorce. NOBODY ever showed to any of my custody cases and i lost my son to my wife who is his STEPMOTHER! I was told by K. Wolford, one of his attorneys that i could send him to spend time with his mom and the courts said thatt i put him in harms way by doing so and lost custody. Now his mom is not even allowed to see him at all!!!! I initally paid him $1500 and havent paid a dime since. I so wish there was some way to get my money back! I hate this man, and i think he charges so much in order to get all those ads in the yellow pages! He sucks and NOBODY should ever go to him for anything unless you just have money to blow and dont care if your lawyer sits on his fat butt and laughs while your in court getting screwed!@!!

My husband left me with no money but lots of bills and I thought I was out of luck until I hired Mr. Morrison. He filed my divorce, took my husband to court, and got the court to order support for me and for my children. He even got the court to order my husband to pay the mortgage for the house. He did a great job for me and it looks like I will get out of this marriage with money, my kids, and my home. I would tell anyone to use Mr. Morrison.

I fully urge people to read the negative comments on this attorney because they are right on. This office, from top to bottom, is the most unprofessional I have ever encountered in my 45 years. When I first met Ware Morrison he seemed like he was going to do everything possible to help out my situation. After I gave him my check, that entire demeanor changed and he NEVER returned phone calls and neither did his pathetic wife. I came to this firm with a personal injury law suit. I was told that the case was great and that they would work to get me the maximum. As it turned out I felt like my attorney was working for or at the very least with the opposing party. I was pushed and pushed to settle for a sum that I thought was so unfair. I felt like I had to settle or else the representation in a court room would be useless. DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM. They are con-artists. I do not know how the state of VA allows the man to continue to practice. I have never felt more violated in my life. I am still spending my money for treatment that will probably continue for years to come and the settlement I recieved will in no way cover the expenses I will have in the future. PLEASE check this firm out completely before signing a contract or giving them a retainer.

Not only was this firm a waste of money, but it was also a waste of time. They do not return any phone calls and they tell you what you want to hear to get your money and just quickly get you out of the office. They tell you they will follow through with something and never do. If you try to complain, Mr. Morrison's wife will put the blame on you or call you a liar rather than trying to get to the root of the problem and find out what genuinely happened. I am taking them to small claims court to get my money back-especially if I lose my child in my current custody battle for their lack of help and wasting my valuable time I could have spent with a better lawyer.

When my husband tried to bankrupt my alimony, Mr. Morrison represented me in the federal courts and argued my case before the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals and won. I would highly recommend him.

I have been going through a terrible divorce and I am sure they are not always pretty, however, Mr. Morrison has had a lot of patience in dealing with me as well as my ex-wife's attorney. Mr. Morrison has done his best to resolve matters, file neccesary paper work into the courts when needed, and his paralegal as well has shown compassion and stuck to her guns when handling my divorce matter. I have referred numerous friends and aquaintences to the law firm of Mr. Morrison, and they are very pleased as well. They ROCK!!!

Upon my initial visit to Mr. Morrison's office I was in a state of panic after discovering that my pendentelite order had expired. my situation needed immediate attention. After meeting with Mr. Morrison I felt confident that I had chosen the correct firm to represent me for my divorce. He placed me with Susan Messenger an excellent attorney on his staff who cared about my situatuation. She assured me that everything was going to be ok and I need not worry about anything. She went to work securing a court date immediately. Susan Messenger is an asset to Mr. Morrison's practice. I would also like to mention that his entire staff was courteous and professional. His office Manager Nancy Morrison made sure that everyone's needs were being met and that the office was running smoothly. My divorce was a huge battle and my now exhusband wanted me to have nothing. Mr. Morrison won every court hearing and I got everything I wanted. He was so successful that my exhusband hired three different lawyers but still could not win. Hire this lawyer. He knows how to win.

This office is very messy. My divorce case has been active for nearly three years, I have had nothing but frustration and disappointment with this firm. They do not return phone calls and appear to only respond to threats, with that response being as little as humanly possible. If I had not paid my funds in full, or if I could afford another lawyer, I would chalk up my losses and find a different attorney. Plainly put, I would NOT recommend this firm to my worst enemy, to put it nicely.
