He used to be a lawyer at the General Counsel's Office at Los Angeles Unified School District. While he was at LAUSD, he was somewhat approachable, and had limited experience in the practice of law. However, the kicker is that he almost perjured himself at an employee's disciplinary hearing in a conspiracy with attorney Georgina Verdugo, to support Georgina Verdugo's claims against the employee. Actually he did perjure himself a bit, but his attorney stopped him before he could completely perjure himself. He didn't know at the time that Ms. Verdugo and two other employees (Robert Baldridge and Veronica Bonilla) had already been caught multiple times perjuring themselves since they testified before him. Other than that he seemed like an ok guy - I guess everyone's entitled to make mistakes. This type of behavior fits perfectly at LAUSD's General Counsel's Office.
