I had worked out the divorce agreement between my mom and dad. My mom panicked when the paperwork got sent to her instead of me so I can sit down and review it with her. She went to Mrs. Quiat who filled her head with more panic and delusions that my father was hiding money. I asked the lawyer to stay out of this because I knew better. Both my parents were middle class and had no money.
Instead of staying out of it or just recommending mediation she forced my dad to go to court. He had Alzheimer's. The stress of the divorce after this lawyer got involved deteriorated my father incredibly quickly. It cost my dad money he didn't have. They were both retired at the time and separated for a while. My father died from his illness within 2 years.
She worked out the same deal I worked out with my parents. I don't know how much it cost my parents.
I am a very educated, moral, and intelligent son. This woman shortened my father's life.
