Over 4 years now and the probate case is still not settled. The value of the property minus costs of back taxes, HOA due and cost of expenses paid for the two years I was paying (and cost directly to the lawyer) has left the heirs with no equity by the time actually resolves. At the two year mark I was encouraged to sign contracts with interested buyers. That contract ended because time ran out. I was then advised to sign a second contract not to lose them. Then that one ran out of time. The third time they recommended it again I refused and informed the buyer not to do it either because they were wasting their money. That was two years ago and there still has not been resolution. I’m so frustrated with the lack of performance of this lawyer.
