The My complaint is real and valid! My review is real. I just don't have to give my name. You know exactly how you work. You get paid, then you don't even communicate with client. Your paralegals changed constantly and I am reviewing over something that happened a couple years ago...Funny, how I have seen the same exact complaint that I wrote.
I tried to review on ere before and was called on the phone by your son,

My husband and I gave Mr. Rossi a retainer of $5000 for a lawsuit that Mr. Rossi agreed to take. He said it would be $250 an hour and I can guarantee that he hasn’t spent more than 2 hours total on this whole case and does not respond to voicemails or emails, and his secretary, Gabrielle, claims that she is going to call you back, but never does.
If Mr. Rossi doesn’t return our retainer or get my husband’s case moving, we will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and contact an attorney to get our funds back.
I have NO idea of how this man received any 5 stars, especially after the way we have been treated. I bet his employees and friends wrote false reviews!

Charged me $3000; made 1 phone call on my behalf. Answered 1 phone call from me. After many ignored requests for a breakdown of my charges, via phone and email, I never got an answer. He took money from a vulnerable person and did NOTHING!

Whenever you imagine a scammer, think of Steve Rossi. He was the most incompetent, uselsss, and disrespectful lawyer I've ever worked with. He charged me an absurd amount of money and did 3 hours worth of work. When I pushed him for updates or help he would try to charge me more and did not fulfill any legal remafications I hired him for. He made me do all the work, send him all the notes, and he would waste time with me over the phone and bill me for it. This experience was the most atrocious, disgraceful, and should be a lessened learned for everyone else. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. Unless you want to waste a couple thousand dollars like myself, which I don't recommend.

I hired this guy to represent me. Overall he charged me $ 3,000 and did about $ 500 worth of work. His firm is incompetent. He has new assistants every week. He takes on several cases which prevents him from providing good services to any one case. He rarely returns calls. When I was able to speak to him he would always ask for more money and paint worst case scenarios. I feel that he preys on the fear of those who are fearful of losing their jobs. He did not provide me with a copy of the retainer contract. According to his billable hours, he owes me over $1,000 but has yet to respond to my requests for a refund. I would look elsewhere and hire a firm that has a stable firm with more than one attorney rather than a one man operation.

I recently hired Attorney Rossi as my attorney in an education case that I could not solve. I live in a different state but it did not really matter, because he made himself available through phone calls and e-mails everyday until the case was solved in my favor. He is very caring, helpful, kind, dependable and honest. Attorney Rossi is one of the best Attorney's in the country because he loves seeking justice and defending innocent people like myself who cannot defend themselves. J. Washington, NY

I went to Mr. Rossi with an urgent issue, and was helped right away. I received good communication with his staff, and was updated regularly. I was in a tight jam, and Mr. Rossi really helped me out, he's an excellent attorney, and very understanding.

Mr. Rossi is unprofessional, unethical, slow, lazy, and frankly not knowledgeable. He takes a very long time to complete work, and offers excuse after excuse for his procrastination. What is more, the quality of his work is poor. A letter he wrote quite frankly was of the same quality of something that a high school senior could have composed. Grammatical mistakes, poor wording, just overall poor writing skills. If you log on to Avoo you will see that he pays to have his name sponsored. What is more,is that his profile does not even allow you to review his services. He pays for sites such as Super Lawyers which allow attorneys to pay to be named as a "super lawyer". Please meet with the man and take a look at his office, then it will be obvious to you how accurate this review is.
