Ken has the ultimate combination of quick smarts, compassion and good judgement to formulate a practical and realistic strategy to achieve success in complex cases. He helped me in a highly controversial and complex litigation, which was routinely labeled high conflict. He effectively presented the case in difficult circumstances when the other party routinely focused on manipulating evidence and overwhelming the judge to stall the case. Ken is able to maintain his credibility with judges even when under unfair attack and even a good working relationship with opposing controversial lawyer. Ken is quick on his feet both in and outside the court. He has obtained favourable results for me. In addition, he is wiling to hear and understand the client’s unique situation. If circumstances are changing fast, he is able to steer the ship well and knows when to calibrate on the go and when to the course. He has high integrity and would not hesitate to make a referral to him.

I did engaged with this lawyer hoping for professional guidance in my legal matter, but my experience was far from satisfactory. The services provided were misleading and failed to deliver any tangible value despite the substantial financial investment. Luckily, somewhat on time, I started becoming suspicious as it seemed he worked more for the opposing party's interests rather than setting up a solid case for my success. This approach was going to turn what should have been a straightforward case into a mess. I do have a suspicion he colluded with the other party lawyer and both lawyers were trying to take a gross advantage of the situation. Run away from this lawyer! He is not going to look for your best interest.

I was referred to Vanderschoot Family Law firm, specifically Kenneth. I have to say i disagree with these other reviews, I had the complete opposite experience. Kenneth was terrific, excellent communication, provided my legal documents ahead of schedule and his work was so detailed, Kenneth documented my case so accurately. I would highly recommend Kenneth!!

Kenneth Younie is like the bottom of the bucket at MacDonald and Partners. Horrible lawyer to say the least. If your going to hire a firm to fight your battle, spend alittle extra and keep looking, dont waste your time with this guy.

Effective in some ways, but not tenacious enough. Too willing to accept the other side's interpretation of things without enough fact checking. He seemed to care but was not enough of a fighter and was too accepting of a mediocre outcome. Hard working assistant did most of the work.
