I retained this lawyer from an Illinois firm for a complex divorce involving substantial assets, financial irregularities, and safety concerns. My experience with the representation was extremely disappointing, and I feel it is important to share so others can make informed decisions. Key concerns during my case included: Missed discovery deadlines and a delay of about three months before my discovery responses were sent to opposing counsel. No timely financial investigation, even after I provided early documentation of serious discrepancies and missing records, and needed subpoenas and motions were not pursued with urgency. Long stretches with no communication or updates, including during critical phases of the case. Allowed false income claim narratives to survive without pushback, setting a tone of my own financial dishonesty. The results of the case were financial devastation for my children and myself, having had no defense against financial fraud.

In an extremely one sided high conflict divorce, the actions (or rather inactions) or Ross financially destroyed me. MIA for multiple week stretches, no follow through, no agressive defense. Devestating consequences caused by a lawyer that then just moves on.

Very surprised along with disappointed in what we experienced with this Lawyer. Our case was not handled in a timely manner, he never had his thoughts together nor written down in preparation of meeting with us and the most disheartening of all was that he suggested that we lie and exaggerate the truth under oath. His billing was extreme for what we saw as no research or work done on his part. Therefore with all that said with the main problem of dishonesty we chose to move on to another practice entirely to handle our case.
I would never recommend this Lawyer or practice to anyone ever!
We were able to get excellent representation in the western suburbs without misrepresenting ourselves and risk being impeached which is the most important thing of all. When our case with the 2nd Law Practice was over the billing statement was much lower than he was billing us as well. Too many negative with this Lawyer I am surprised he is not disbarred yet.

Ross helped make a bad situation dramatically better in a short time. He really listened to my concerns and addressed all of them. I wouldn't hesitate calling on him again.
