I've heard good things about this attorney for Doug over at Father's for Equal Rights in Dallas where Jon has been volunteering for years. I was very pleased to find out all the good I heard was true. I highly recommend him! In short, I would recommend Jon to anybody in the Dallas Fort Worth area that is going through a divorce or custody issue. I cannot say enough good things about Jon, the work he does, or the hours he puts in at Father's for Equal Rights. One happy Full Custody Dad!

He seems to know the law well and has been practicing for some time, but getting in touch with him is nearly impossible. I've used several family law attorneys in the past and Mr. Boyd has been by far the worst communicator. Even the simplest questions take weeks to get an answer and that only occurs after dozens of calls and emails to his office. Unfortunately, I found out too late that he actually had a disciplinary action taken against him by the state bar for the exact same reasons. It is a matter of public record, so I suggest you inquire with the bar before hiring any attorney.

I retained Jon roughly a year and a half ago. Initially, I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and demeanor. After about 2 months I had him withdraw as my counsel. I was extremely displeased with his service, attitude, and the counsel given. To say I would never recommend Jon to anyone is an understatement. I know every circumstance is given, but in my particular circumstance, his counsel did me far more harm than it did good.

i was referred to jon by a co-worker. i was in a difficult situation but jon and diane really helped me out. through his hard work and counsel, i now have custody of my child and I couldn't be more thankful.

It's a shame that such a negative review would be written about Jon, especially some guy's mom... seriously, why isn't the actual guy writing the review... lame? I've had such a positive experience working with Jon's office. Emotions obviously run high with divorces and every situation is different, but I found Jon to be well prepared, thoughtful, aggressive and very honest about what to expect throughout the process. It's hard to get everything you want in a divorce, but Jon worked tirelessly to make sure that I had equal time with my son, and that was most important. Again, every situation is different, but I'd say take the negative review here with a grain of salt. Hopefully some other clients of Jon will come to his defense here and share their good experiences.
