Worst lawyer ever, doesn't return calls. Way too busy to discuss case, shows up to trial ill prepared. I had cost awarded against me due to his incompetence. So not only did I have to pay him but also for my ex-husbands lawyer. JS

I would never recommend this man to anyone. He has got to be the worst lawyer I have ever seen. You do all the work and then he sends you up the river. He made deals with crown attorneys, as well as discussing others cases with people. Very unprofessional.

Over worked. Ridiculous hours. By the time he could see us he was ‘tired’ and told us to come back after waiting almost 2 hours for him already. Takes on too much and doesn’t seem to be able to handle it all neglecting the clients he already has.

Jim Battin represent a disabled lady and her aging mother. I should sa MISrepresented! While supposedly representing their interests he referred to them as professional liars, didn't show up for a hearing and demanded they settle their claim against a neighbour for causing serious health and house damage by cuttting off their house drainage resulting in flood damage and black mold, for $300.00!

Left a review about this lawyer before,some how is gone,doesn't care about the client at all is all about money,and always tries to adjourned his cases....Very disappointed

Did all my own paperwork. Never prepared me for trial, never read information he had for 2 years until night before trial.Was golf buddies with prosecuting lawyer and judge did not like him as he proved the judge committed fraud in early 80's as a lawyer. Prosecuting lawyer was a conflict of interest as the plaintiff he was representing he had already been against this plaintiff from 1998-2008 in previous lawsuit and confirmed she was a liar but used it turned information around on this trial to win. Judgement still has not been fulfilled by plaintiff as vehicle that was taken away still remains in our name. Battin and Shaheen don't have to do anything as they got paid. Judge never read evidence. Just an entire kangaroo court. Although everything testified on the stand as I was accused of being a liar came true 6 months later. But left to go in bankruptcy due to a very poor legal system. Shame on all these ombudsman and law society that are suppose to protect the public.

Very hard to get ahold of. Terrible family law lawyer! Very overworked and seemed to only want the money and not do the work.

Terrible lawyer with hours late into the evening.. Lazy with incompetent secretaries and disconnected demeaner.. Terrible at family law and overworked and overbooked with an obviiously short attention span
