She should be disbarred, took my retainer and did nothing. This should have been a simple divorce no kids and no assests. She didn’t even ask for discovery. If you want a BAD lawyer this is her. Now I have to hire a new one.

Melanie Webre should be disbarred. She is very unethical in financial dealings with clients. She completely obliterated the entire refainer of thousands of dollars that I paid her, only on sending emails. She never commenced any true or substantive legal work on my case. She is a shame to the law profession, and contrary to any ethics for which a lawyer would enter the position.

Melanie is SLIMEY!!! She will try every dirty trick she can to try to win your case (but then advise you to settle in the end). If you want a lawyer who will try to settle your case fairly and quickly, avoid Melanie: find someone who will be objective about your prospects, not someone who just wants your money.

She did a GREAT JOB and described the terms with great accuracy! It seems the other review is a person who wants things FOR FREE! Her track record speaks for itself, ALL success!

If you are looking for a divorce lawyer, steer clear of Melanie Webre. She and her law firm takes full advantage of clients who may not be completely familiar with the system. She charged me a 1/4 of an hour for every little thing she did, i.e., calling me and leaving a voice mail, sending a quick response to an e-mail. She clearly did not have my best interest at heart during my case, charged me way more than I could afford to pay, and then when I couldn't pay, slapped a lien on my house and then followed that up with a suit. Stay away from this lawyer.
