Do not EVER get this Attorney! He took my money and did absolutely nothing for me. He never even had me sign any contract or papers. He hardly even spoke to me regarding my criminal case, never asking me questions or my side of the story. He extended my trial conference numerous times for his benefit. He never called me and told me anything about my case, extensions, plea bargains....nothing! Everytime I called his office to see the status of my case, I spke with his Secretary. This Attorney basically took my Flat Fee amount of $1,500 and did nothing for me. The end result for the plea bargain was the exact same offer I was given by the DA before even retaining James Veldhuis. This guy is dishonest, unprofessional and has broke the professional code of conduct for not abiding ethics. I will be making a complaint to the bar association, BBB and every place I possibly can to let other consumers to BEWARE of this shark that will take your case, money, without a contract and doesn't wo
