He represented my ex in our recent divorce and his involvement resulted in a lot of fighting and problems but in the end, he cost my ex dearly and saved me a ton of money! ALL KEVIN WANTS ARE BILLABLE HOURS. He creates conflicts, is accusatory and unprofessional, and I GUARANTEE that he will extract maximum hours from you! I offered my ex a great settlement during mediation. Unfortunately for her, she showed up with Conman Kevin as her lawyer. If they had accepted my offer, the case would have been completed with ~6 hrs of The Conman's time. The Conman rejected my offer and then managed to fight for 4 more months. I immediately hired a lawyer after our mediation failed and we proceeded to respond to all of The Conman's accusations and ridiculousness. IN THE END, I HAD TO PAY MY EX ALMOST NOTHING IN CHILD SUPPORT AND ZERO SPOUSAL SUPPORT. CONMAN KEVIN SAVED ME ABOUT $100K AND SCREWED MY EX FOR $20K IN FEES. HE IS A CROOK!!! RID: 230036
Click to report rating    10/7/13   3     1     2     2     2   I had interviewed several attorneys before going with Kevin. He seemed direct and forceful. I thought that would be beneficial to have for my Counsel. However, he was like that with me. He filed documents with the Court without letting me review them. A few times, when I asked to review a document and asked for some changes, he got angry and said, "I'm not going to keep doing this." I felt bullied and intimidated. Since I was leaving a marriage partner who was bullying and intimidating, it took me a while to realize what was happening and that I didn't need to put up with this (especially if I'm paying for it!). Fortunately, I found a new attorney. The difference in my working relationship between Kevin and my new attorney was extreme. The new attorney was tough yet professional and did not send any correspondence to Court without my review and agreement. We have mutual respect and fought a good case in a very contentious divorce matter. This would have been impossible with Ke RID: 124785
Click to report rating    1/29/11   1     1     2     1     1   It's difficult to convey in words how horrible this attorney is. I will start by noting that Kevin was my wife's attorney and not mine, but after 7 months of him draining our funds and fomenting fights, she finally fired him. Ultimately, she fired him when he spoke to my attorney saying, "I hope I'm not breaching attorney/client privilege here..." then went on to do just that, revealing damaging information about my wife's case. Kevin is not professional, not knowledgeable about the law, and approaches family law with what's in the best intention of prolonging the case and not with what's in the best interest of his client. To whomever is reading this, please realize that there is a reason this fellow has as many years behind him as an attorney as he does, and has not reached partner status yet in any of the firms in which he worked. Click to report rating    8/19/09   2     4     2     2     1   When I first met with Kevin, I really liked him. He was straight and to the point, asked appropriate questions, etc. Once into the case, however, I really became disappointed. I don't feel he put up the good fight, and I believe he made several mistakes that ultimately cost me a lot of money. For $285/hr, I expect top quality representation, and an individual that will go to battle for whats 'right', and what's within my rights as a concerned and involved father. Although I liked him personally, I would not recommend him as a divorce attorney. RID: 21193
