Ms. Dyke handled my wrongful dismissal case several years ago. She had creative and innovative ideas to pressure my former employer and I was very pleased with her work.

Elizabeth worked with me on a wrongful dismissalcase that took almost 2 years to resolve and was available to me, offering cautious advice, never promising anything, as any good lawyer would do and fought for me and settled my case very satisfactorily. Yes, in my case I too needed evidence from a friend, but that was easily enough obtained and yes, it did take time, what lawyer does not. The wheels of law move very slowly.I think anyone would be well advised to retain Ms. Dyke and I have recommended her to many people since my experience with her.

After being wrongfully dismissed by my employer, I met with Elizabeth Dyke. At the first meeting, she was very knowledgable and encouraging, even going so far as to tell me that obstacles that I had identified (like ESA agreements at the time of hiring) would not be an issue. After that, she fell off the radar. Two vacations (hers) and several late or unanswered emails later, she informed (bizarrely) that I did not have a case, that the ROE she told me would be needed was of no value and that I should "get a friend to record a reference call" to my previous employers. She said she was "closing my file" and then refused to answer any communcication. In my view, it appears that she was hoping for a simple settlement and, when that was not forthcoming, she abandoned my case (keeping the retainer, of course). I have since found a lawyer with much more integrity (who says I DO have a case). I would not recommend Elizabeth for any reason.
