Wost experience ever with Edward Maldonado. Only in zero-regulation, anti-consumer Arizona can a really horrible and corrupt lawyer like this guy still be practising and still be in business. The harm goes on. ZERO rating.

I have spoken to him once and I have court tomorrow morning. I will be genuinely (and pleasantly)surprised if he even shows up. Absolutely appalling work ethic and impossible to contact. I wish there was a 0 on the scale

What is even worse than Phoenix lawyer Edward Maldonado writing a bad check to a former client, a felony in Maricopa County AZ, how about being convicted of murder and several other attached crimes as a youth in La Habra CA in 1991 along with two other friends in a gangbang payback event gone wrong, (or gone right if you are a criminal like Maldonado). So he served his time, went to law school and is now a lawyer with the same criminal mind and instincts. Google Edward Maldonado La Habra CA gang murder. This is sick people.

Roberta Tepper Senior Bar Counsel at the State Bar of Arizona, azbar.org and Nancy Swetnam, who oversees lawyer admissions and discipline at the AZ State Supreme Court have BOTH now been formally and legally provided/served with copies of witnessed, notarized and sworn Bank of America staff affidavits prooving that fraudster AZ lawyer Edward Maldonado has written a bad-nsf check, a felony in AZ, and they have done nothing about it, in clear violation of their public oaths and duties to serve and protect the public. Shame! Let's make certain these bad public servants DO NOT get their employment contracts renewed before one additional innocent Arizonian is destroyed by yet another dishonest, evil lawyer.

Ed Maldondo now has an eight-point State Bar of Arizona complaint pending against him that should end in disbarment. Yeah!!! You won't see this current status on the AZBar.org website YET as they work very slow and they only protect their attorney's, NOT AZ CITZENS!!! So you will need to contact them by phone or pull the 9/4/09 complaint file in person to see all the details. Yes - they intentionally make it very hard for working AZ citizens to check-up on a lawyers latest standing. What is his standing? He is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to ethics, diligence and integrity. He writes bad-nsf checks, abandones his clients, lies, etc. So spare yourself and your loved ones lots of pain - RUN AWAY FROM EDWARD MALDONADO AS FAST AS YOU CAN, and to a more seasoned and competent lawyer. Just discovered that Maldonado also hasnt had liability insurance earlier this year as he represented on the AZBar website - just one more of his deceptions!!!

Beware! Based on my opinion and my personal experience as a paying client of Mr. Maldonado severalmonths ago, I found Edward Maldonado to be incompetent, unethical, arrogant and ultimately dishonest as he issued me a bad-NSF check for the refund of my retainer (a felony in AZ) and has since refused numerous written demands for repayment. I have a AZ BAR complaint pending against him and hope to have him disbared as soon as possible. Spread the word.
