Sheryl is an amazing attorney. We had court recently and I feel like a small sense of justice and stability has finally been given to me. I am very fortunate to have found her as my attorney and represent me. Her staff is great, very personable and friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for an incredible Family Law Attorney!

Mrs. McDonnell is the best! She has been very aggressive when needed and when appropriate. She has listened to my concerns and needs as the client, and be diligent in looking out for my best interests as my attorney. I can't say enough because I was in a major custody battle and she prevailed for me and my son! I can't thank her enough and spread the good word about her and her level of knowledge and expertise in family law regarding divorce and custody situations. It just flows and comes naturally for her! She is very experienced when it comes to family law! I don't believe I would be where I am today without her!

very interesting reading these comments - I hired Sheryl in 2010 based on her good reviews - reading the comments that began in 2010 it looks like we ALL have the same story! She takes your money and you never hear from her again - her substandard staff made so many errors in our case and of course billed me for their corrections, then submitted the incorrect paperwork! She never saw or called me to discuss the case until 24 hours before. When I called asking if she was even going to show up - she promptly reprimanded me and told me that she will no longer represent. Then she SHOWED UP the next day and completely misrepresented my case to the opposing attorney, filed a motion to dismiss herself from my case - and then BILLED ME FOR THAT! I lost custody of my kids, got screwed in the final decree and got billed ANOTHER $4600. She should be up for malpractice - I have contacted the bar association regarding her- you all should too - STAY AWAY!

Like a lot of people here, Sheryl can never be contacted, over charges clients, and just keeps pumping you for money. I finally had to fire her and finish my own divorce! She also has a very high staff turnover. Very difficult to work with and uncooperative. Stay away from this one.

Watch out for this one. She knows how to pump you out of money. She is good in court when she wants to be, but thats what keeps you with her. You don't realize that she is keeping you as a client, keeping you in the divorce loop without actually getting your divorce case completed. She is a liar, will lie to you and will take your money and keep taking it. Very unprofessional.

he did not communicate with me at all after the initial consultation. I was told to fax written questions. She never responded after being told several times by her assistant to resubmit the questions. She never responded to phone calls either. I never received a statement. When I finally found another attorney and asked for a statement and a refund of the unused retainer, I received a statement which did not accounted for only $1,000 of the $5,000 I gave her and claimed I owed her money. I was charged every time for the faxes they kept asking me to resend and supposed meetings which I was never informed about. I did almost everything myself and received no advice. I had to start over with another attorney who helped me more in 1 hour more than she helped in 3 months. I would not recommend her to anyone. Maybe she is a good trail lawyer, but my relatively simple case was heading unnecessarily to trial because of her. She never contacted my ex husband's attorney either.

Good luck ever trying to talk to Sheryl. Her staff will just tell you to write a letter to her and will get back to you. Her charges are outrageous!! Is she good in court? Most opposing attorney's piss their pants. So, she is very good in court. Too bad she doesn't run her office as well as she runs the courtroom.

Sherly was extremely difficult to contact.She charged me numerous unfair fees.And she lost my case.
