I also hired Mr. Hamburger in August of 03' as a divorce attorney. I got the same thing. He wasn't ever available to talk. The paperwork was held up also. I asked him to look over the paperwork to change anything that should be changed. He basically shrugged it off like no big deal. The most important question I had for him was about my taxes. My ex wanted to claim them every year when they live with me. He acted like he couldn't be bothered. He told me it isn't worth it to claim them with what I made and to let him claim them. I didn't know any better. THOUGHT he knew what he was talking about. I thought he was suppose represent me, not my ex. I wish that I had the money back then to get a new lawyer. I was told that he wasn't a great lawyer and did the same thing to a co-worker of mine after I already hired him. I also heard about him being investigated by the bar association. Your not the first. I think we were misrepresented. This is not fair.

I hired Mr. Hamburger in Aug. 07 as a divorce attorney. He was never available to talk to or he did no paperwork. We did go to a 4-way conference in January but then no paperwork was produced and he never attempted to contact my husband's lawyer. He lied to me on several occasions, got very impatient when I asked questions and when I inquired why he was never available, he told me he had health problems and "I should have looked in the horses' mouth before buying him." I have also heard since he is being investigated by the bar association.
