Carol's expertise was essential in guiding me through my divorce. Her vast knowledge of the process, her working relationships with other attorneys and her intuition on local judges' rulings proved to be crucial to my successful divorce. She was patient and kind with each question I asked and valued my input and opinions along the way. I feel the result of my divorce was fair and the best possible outcome for myself, my son and my former spouse. I was a client of Carol's for 15 months. Her workload was such that my interests suffered. She continuously asked for info already provided again and again. Docs sent were asked for again weeks later. I felt she never read my emails but just skimmed them due to her overall workload not allowing her the time to fully concentrate on my issues. I also made suggestions to protect my interests the I felt she should have put in place given 32 years experience. If not because of me, I would have lost more assets than what I did. Carol's work seemed to be better focused on obtaining assets for clients than retaining them (in this case mine). Finally, to justify an hourly rate of $300 she touted her 32 years of experience. In my opinion this experience lead to complacency by not making more effort to act on issues considered outside the box. This lack of effort had me lose more assets than I should have.
